Getting Started

  • Select the icon at the left top to select the desired menu.

    You can create only one lockscreen and offerwall unit for on app, respectively. Once, you have done so the button to add unit will disappear.

    Analytics: See report of each unit or inventory

    Create units, or inventories, for each apps created by the platform manager, and see reports
    Campaign Manager

    Monitoring: Overview of currently operating content and ads

    Direct Sales: View, create, and change an ad group, an ad and creatives

    Channels: View the channels that are providing contents

    Content Items: Create new content, View and change operating contents

    Targets: Create/View a user group for ads targeting

Platform Manager


  • Only inventory managers can create units or inventories. 


    What is an app? 

    A mobile application consists of various ad units or inventories that deliver Buzzvil's ads. But you can add only one lockscreen and offerwall unit, respectively.


    Create an app

    You can add your app in Platform Manager. When you add your app, please follow the naming format as below: 

    • App name_OS, Dev/OP
      - eg. Slidejoy_AOS_OP and Slidejoy_iOS_Dev
    1. Open Platform Manager.
    2. Select Apps.
    3. Select Create App on the top right.
    Inventory managers can create units or inventories for each app. 




  • You can search and track users who have interacted with ads on Buzzvil's ad units, or inventories. You can also search users who have reached out to you through CS/VOC.


    View user actions

    1. Platform manager can select the User Actions menu
    2. Use the Search and Filters bar and (3) hit apply 
    • Period: When your user has interacted with the ads and contents
    • App: The app where your user have interacted with the ads and contents delivered through Buzzvil's inventories
    • User
      - IFA / ADID / UDID(ios) : User's mobile ad ID
      - User ID: An ID that Buzzvil and publisher uses to identify a user
      - Required fields are marked with *.


    User action information 

    • Date: When a user interacted with an ad
    • Campaign: Which ad and content a user interacted with
    • Type: Type of ad (action-based, cpm, content and so on) *Action-type ads are currently only available in Korea 
    • Total pts: How many points a user earned
      - Landing: Points earned through landing pages
      - Base: Basic amount of points
    • Remark: Reaction of a user when he or she earned points
      - Landing: Landing page of an ad
      - Unlock: Unlocking the lockscreen ad
      - Action: Action-type ad (Only available in Korea) 
    • Unit: The ad inventory or unit a user interacted with 
    • Status: Whether a cpm or content has 'Success(ed)' or 'Failed'
      - For Action-type ad, you can see when an action has taken place (For Korean market only)
      - Clicked: A user has clicked an ad
      - OOKRW: If you multiply the point rate to the price of an ad, you get the number of points a user earned







Inventory Manager

  • Inventory managers can create and change units. 

    Create units only after you have added an app. If you haven't made any app yet, please create the app first in the Platform Manager.


    Create units

    After the platform manager has added an app, creative inventories. 

    1. On the top left drop box, select the app which you want to app or manage inventories. 
    2. Go to App Overview.
    3. Select the Get Started button of an unit you want to manage or create.


    Please follow the naming format as below.
    • Lockscreen: BS_SDK_KR_App Name_OP/Dev
    • Benefit: BAB_SDK_KR_AOS/iOS_App Name_Inventory Type+Inventory_OP/Dev
    • Offerwall: BO_SDK/API_KR_AOS/iOS_App Name_OP/Dev
    • Optimizer: BARO_SDK_KR_iOS/AOS_App Name_Inventory Type_Dev/OP





  • App Report

    1. The inventory manager has to select the app first. 
    2. Go to App Overview.
    3. Overview section shows the unit report of the selected app.



    Unit Report

    The page may differ slightly depending on the unit type.

    1. The inventory manager has to select the app first. 
    2. Select the type of report you want to see.
    3. Click the dropdown menu to see the report of a specific inventory.
    4. Select time. 





Campaign Manager

  • You can check the content and advertisement campaign exposed at a specific time.


    Content

    1. Click the search bar (dark gray) in the header section of the report.
    2. Enter each item you want to search.
      - Campaign: Campaign ID created when you added a content or search by the name of the campaign
      - Period: Set date
      - App: Select the app you want to see
      - Unit: Select a unit of inventory of the app you have selected
      - Status: Enabled: Content that is being exposed, Disabled:  Content that is not being exposed
    3. Click Apply to see results
    Reset to defaults resets the selected or inserted information


    See your search results

    • Status shows whether a campaign enabled or not. 
    • Basic info is the title of a content

    • Period is set time of when a campaign took place

    • Impression / Click / CTR: Views/ Click / CTR or click-through rate

    • CSV on the top right allows you to download your report in CSV format.



    Ads

    Search and Filter

    1. Click the search bar (dark gray) in the header section of the report.
    2. Enter each item you want to search.
      - Campaign: Campaign ID created when you added a content or search by the name of the campaign
      - Period: Set date
      - App: Select the app you want to see
      - Unit: Select a unit of inventory of the app you have selected
      - Status: Enabled: Content that is being exposed, Disabled: Content that is not being exposed
      - Revenue type: View/ Action / CPC, CPM, CPV type
      - Platform: AOS/ iOS / AOS & iOS 
    3. Click Apply to see results
    Reset to defaults resets the selected or inserted information


    See your search results

  • Create Ad Group

    Getting started

    1. Select Direct Sales in the Campaign manager.
    2. Select the New button on the top right.


    Create a new ad group

    We recommend creating an ad group for you to see an accurate report of your ads.

    If you create ad group for display or videos, you can see the report of related ad products. 

    If you don't, you report will show all of your ads in one set. It will be hard for you to see the reports based on the ad types. 

    See what ads you can set up for the group type below. 
    • Display(CPM): Create CPC, CPM ads
    • Video(Video): Create video ads (CPV)


    Create a new campaign


    Add ad creative

    You can upload lockscreen and native type ads at once. 


    Copy and Import

    Copy ads and creative

    When you copy an ad, the settings will be copied. You can separately import the ad creatives. 


    Import Ad

    Because ads and creatives are set separately in the new admin, it is not possible to copy ads and creatives at the same time when copying just like in the old admin. Instead, you can paste the same content by importing ads and creatives from other items.


    Import ad settings

    Click the Import Settings button to search for existing ads and import their settings. All the values on the settings page are replaced with the values of the imported ad.


    Import creatives

    You can import previously created creatives.

    1. Click Import Creative in the New Creative page.
    2. Search ads on the popup.
    3. Select an ad and click import.



  • Create channel

    You must create a channel to add contents. For native contents, please select an existing channel. If not, you have to create a new channel. Logo images are required. 

    If you know what channel your content is a part of, please skip this stage. 


    Create content

    You can start adding contents if you have a channel. 


    Full-screen Content

    The image size is 720*1230. Make sure the image does not overlap with the UI of your lockscreen app.

    Full-screen content is only shown on the lockscreen unit or inventory.


    Native content

    • Native content is only available on the Benefit inventory type. 
    • The image size is 1200*627. 
    • For native content, your icon will be that of the channel. 


Finance Manager

  • You can search the payout data by month.

    1. Go to Finance Manager and click Payout.
    2. Click Search & Filters.
    3. Set Period to select the period to search data.
    4. Select the app to view data by setting the app. After selecting an app, you can select an ad unit.
    5. To view test apps together, toggle the switch of Test apps to Show.
    6. Click Apply.


    When App is selected, the sub-unit data of the app can be viewed by clicking the arrow below Month.
